I very much enjoyed this episode - like the idea of 'pretty good knitter' too. And not limiting ourselves to being this or that kind. Well said.
Your podcast is one of those I have kept in Itunes - lots i listen to one or two episodes and ditch, but i enjoy your eclectic taste in music, as well as your lovely voice.
Thanks.

Hey, I'm a PGK and I love wool. Thank-you for putting into words what I have been feeling for several months. I have been listening to podcasts and just recently started reading blogs. There is a lot of over-the-top yammering about luxury yarns, acquiring yarns and socks. That's not me. Thank-you for making it ok. Wow, that sounds so pathetic. For some reason I guess we need labels of some kind.

Thanks for writing, Kellie -- the irony of giving myself a label when I'm feeling uncomfortable with all the labels out there doesn't escape me, but I tried to give myself the broadest scope possible in figuring out what kind of knitter I am.
I think, ultimately, we all just want to fit in somewhere. How we do it is often difficult if we're not swimming in the mainstream...

I'm a PGK too. At last, I found my knitting identity!
